hey guys , i had a dash light come on this morning driving to work....its to the right of the dccd in this pic

my thoughts were power steering as it has been a little weird lately


any help??

car is an 02 sti

the orange light is the check engine light, its not always anything too serious but you should take it to Subaru to have it looked at.

I just noticed the 180 kmph speedo. imported car.

your diff temp light is also on..

ahh it is different to my old forester...

is there anyway i can find out the code to see what it is???? like how many times it flashes?? cheers for the help , Mat

Just take it to Subaru, they shouldn't charge you to plug their gizmo into your car and tell you what the problem is wave.gif.

yeah i might pop it into subaru, ive just recently bought it and its still under warrenty so there shouldnt be an issue. I just like to know what things are....and nah i dont have dccd i wish i did.. i just borrowd that pic as it had the same light...thanks again cheers MAt

I have the same dash as you on my 02 STi. You can easily get rid of the DCCD and diff lights by covering that part of the dash from the inside with black electrical tape. It makes a world of difference.
