LOL some people on there are deadset idiots with no idea.....

one guy is telling the OP to "Look at an Evo VII GT-A with the sequential box"
The most garbage Evo you can buy LOL.
It's a regular rubbish AUTO, nothing at all like the new Evo X's dual clutch box.

I'm bored I feel like joining the forum just to set some of them straight lol.

^ haha

Someone post this link: http://videos.streetfire.net/video/TIMEATT...50HP_193091.htm

P.S. I guess they don't know any better but to compare WRX's with EVO's. Bit of a price difference there icon_rolleyes.gif I think all of us would pick a stock EVO over a stock WRX. Lol.

Look at an Evo VII GT-A with the sequential box. Can pick them up fairly cheaply now. Plus their not as obnoxious as the Evo GSR. Gearboxes are quite strong. Parts are cheap. You can squeeze 20" mags under the guards with little/no modification. Better engine. The ones I have driven tend not to understeer and instead seem to be quite neutral. There is also massive aftermarket support.

LMAO.....cos thats why you buy an EVO/WRX......fckin ricer faggots

QUOTE
WRX's also look like a random combination of parts under the bonnet, I'd hate to work on one.

They all sound exactly the same, have really high insurance premiums due to the amount of dickheads who own them, and everyone I know with one which is making decent power has had to fit a dogbox to cope with >150kAWKW.

First of all 150atw is NOT decent power, and fitting a dogbox to cope with that amount icon_lol.gif

Non Sti WRX vs gtst (33), the wrx loses out everywhere.

-Slow
-Hard to get decent power out of - and once you do, the engine will go pop with a piddly ~200awkw.
-Poor gearbox (but only if you abuse it. The 33 gearbox will not break unless you're pushing 300rwkw+ or you really, really give it shit).
-Poorly interior build quality.

Still, each to their own. A wrx in the wet can be a handful and with the right mods these things can handle pretty well.

Still, I think if this bloke was going from gtst to a wrx, the only option for a superior car would be an Sti (03+) - nice power, great breaks, strong.
