Ebc ...making It Work? having trouble

Hey guys,

recently bought a second hand blitz sbs type s electric boost controller

any ways i installed it and it says 0.84 khpa and wont move from this scrren no matter how many times i press the buttons or hold it in

the guy i bought it of is trust worthy......has any body had experice with installing and making these work


please let me know if u have any advice?????

Assuming your engine was boosting before the install, it sounds like the solenoid isn't setup correctly as that's around wastegate pressure.

Take note of the lines coming in and out of the solenoid, if you don' thave a manual, find some blitz instructions on the net and double check.

Could you clarify what's wrong?

I took the OP to mean that his BC displays the screen with 0.84kpa all the time, and he can't change the settings/clear the screen...

oops; misinterpretation on my part.

Silly qu but does the unit switch on and off when turning the key? I'd be trying to reboot/reinitialize it in every which way possible...

No it just stays on one screen...no matter what button I press or move... Only way to turn it off is to unplug it.... I'm haven't tryed to drive it when is like on either

Wild stab in the dark.

Althought that could be an error code of some sort to say something isn't hooked up right or one of the sensors has fail?? Have you checked the manual or maybe looked for a support site for Blitz?

I have now only connected the power and it will not let me change forom 0.82 still
I mite try turn the ignition on and off contiuously and see what happens

So, just checking, you have replaced the factory solenoid with this one and ensured it's all plumbed in properly? You did receive a solenoid with it right?

yes,

but its not about the set up any more

it is even if i have just the power on nothig else connected i cant get it of 0.82 kpha
