hi all, update is that I went to Neale Wheels in Sth Strathfield and they claim to perform abra cadabra magic on rims, and they seem like they know what they're on about too. $120 repaired and finished and fitted, 24 hour turnaround. Probably could push for less for cash but i was rushed so cbf. I'll post some before and afters if you were thinking of getting some cream for that nasty rash of your's. $120 per wheel right? -------------------- |

F-i-L is a good dood, he probably couldn't give a flying fck at a rolling donut with a frog's fat fcker if i told him. But tbh, even though he kinda doesn't care for or clean his beemer, i do see most of the other family knobs taking advantage of him and his generosity and so i figured it was me that stuffed his brand new rim (and this is a brand new set he bought and are only a few mths old cause he buggered both driver's side rims in a gay ass big pothole) so i figured i'd do him a solid.
fiance borrows his car to use for a few weeks as he has a work car anyway, and so its in my care the way i see it. so it should go back to him the way i got it. i also plan to detail it cause it is a pig sty. looks worse than troy's head. i digress. Anyway, yes $120 per rim, and the bloke said it really doesn't matter about the level of gutter rash it'd be same price all round. Btw, they don't paint or powdercoat on site, they send it off. As i am not doing that i didn't ask. I can ask when i go back if you want, but i'd go up this post and check the guys that do them finished for $77. -------------------- Current chariot MY08 VW Golf Pacific TDi in Black Magic pearlescent - unmodified yet.
